Brot was a craft professional of the highest caliber and distinction, a visionary, able to interpret new aesthetic aspiration. In the archives of the Manufacture de Saint Gobain, in the 18th century it can be found that François Brot, a mirror maker in the court of King Charles X, founded Miroir Brot in 1826. Some of the more exotic finishes can require up to six weeks.

The mirror has a generous 9.5 inch diameter and is made of the highest quality glass, backed with pure silver to ensure a crisp bright image. You can specify any of 30 finishes and your choice of 3x or 5x magnification power - both reversible to 1x (no magnification). The Patrimoine ("Heritage") makeup mirror is custom made in Paris, France. Some of the more exotic finishes rquire up to six weeks. Some "regular" finishes ship in 30 days or sooner. The head swivels left, right, up, and down, and the double arm swivels left and right, and pivots at the "knuckle" as well - easy to position precisely.
